Your sessions, your sets and your loads, because that is precisely the service. Your profile — first name, age, height, weight, goal — is used to calibrate suggestions; every one of those fields is optional and editable at any time.
The photo you take to identify a machine is sent to our server, which passes it to a vision model to recognise the equipment. We keep a digital fingerprint of it — a sequence of numbers from which the image cannot be reconstructed — so that the next scan of the same machine is instant and free. Those fingerprints describe gym equipment, never people.
If you turn on the export, KCoach writes your finished sessions to Apple Health: duration, estimated calories and volume lifted. It reads only your weight, to estimate those calories — nothing else.
That data never leaves your phone in this direction: the write happens locally, device to device. We receive no data from Apple Health, we do not use it for advertising, and it is shared with no one. You can withdraw the permission at any time in Apple Health settings; the app keeps working without it.
Two features call a model from Anthropic, our processor: identifying a machine from a photo, and composing a custom session. In the first case we send the image, in the second the loads you have lifted on the exercises concerned — never your name, your address or your identifier.
This data is not used to train any model. It is processed for the duration of the request, then deleted by the processor according to its own retention periods.
The coach your account is linked to sees your sessions, your programme adherence and the effort you report. They see neither your password nor your other account data. Only we can create that link, never the coach.
From the app, under Profile, in one action. The deletion is real and immediate: sessions, sets, records, measurements and login tokens go with the account. The machine catalogue, a shared reference containing no personal data, stays in place.
European regulation gives you the right to access your data, correct it, retrieve it in a readable format and have it erased. Erasure is immediate and done from the app, without writing to us. For other requests, you get an answer within thirty days.
Your sessions are kept as long as your account exists: that is the whole point of the service, and a history that wipes itself after a year is worth nothing. Technical logs are kept twelve months, machine fingerprints indefinitely — they describe nothing but equipment.
KCoach is for people aged thirteen and over. We do not knowingly collect data about younger children.
